T.M. Performance has joined the ranks of the elite transmission manufacturers with its own product. This unit has been created in order to allow for the use of a powertrain of motorcycle origin on an automobile type vehicle. In addition to having a reverse gear, this unit also has a self-locking plate differential. In order to adapt the gear ratios to the various circuits and to the various engines, the PTU has a torsional transmission shaft and a pair of gears at the input (drop) that can be replaced by simply removing a cover without having to dismantle it from the vehicle. The external housing has attachments for the suspensions, for the rear spoiler, and for the shock absorbers (optional).
